Who we are: 
The Cardiothoracic Surgery (CTS) Interest Group is a collection of students with a shared interest in the field of CTS. This group provides a platform for access to faculty, resident, and medical student mentors for guidance in career pathways, research opportunities, and residency applications.

What we do

Our mission is to provide students with mentorship and educational opportunities in order to introduce new students to the field of cardiothoracic surgery, enhance their medical education, and equip them with the skills needed to be competitive applicants and make meaningful contributions to the field of cardiothoracic surgery. 

Whether students are interested in cardiothoracic surgery in particular or any surgical specialty, we plan to offer several useful and interesting events throughout the year such as:
