Friends of MSF (Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières)
Our Mission:
Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, non-profit medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare, irrespective of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation. Friends of MSF (FoMSF) is a student chapter of Doctors Without Borders at Case Western Reserve University. This group is made up of student supporters who educate and raise awareness of MSF's medical and humanitarian work throughout our community.
Mission Statement:
Friends of MSF seeks to educate and engage our local community in the work of MSF, promote its campaigns, encourage students to consider future work with non-governmental organizations post-graduation, and raise money to support the field operations of MSF. These aims will be achieved through community outreach, seminars, and fundraising events.
