Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Interest Group
About:
The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Interest Group (PRSIG) is a collection of students with a shared interest in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This group provides a platform for access to faculty, resident, and medical student mentors for guidance of career, the match, and research opportunities. Our members attend educational conferences and pursue shadowing opportunities within the department. We collaborate with other surgical specialty interest groups on educational and skills sessions including match panels and suturing workshops.
Mission:
Our mission is to provide students with mentorship and educational opportunities that enhance their medical education and equip them with the skills and information needed to be competitive applicants and make meaningful contributions to the field of plastic surgery.
