South Asian Medical Student Association (SAMSA)
SAMSA is an organization that focuses on promoting the professional, political, and social goals of medical students that are of South Asian heritage or those that would like to learn more about South Asian culture. We aim to create a source of community for individuals that identify as South Asian by fostering dialogue, friendship, and activism through our common passion for equitable healthcare.
Mission Statement:
SAMSA at Case will strive to foster leaders in healthcare that are equipped to provide care for a diverse patient population by engaging in lively discussion of scientific, cultural, political, social, and educational progress for the South Asian community. We also aim to create a source of community and camaraderie for current members by partnering with local and national SAMSA chapters and engaging with alumni. Overall, SAMSA will provide opportunities for networking, support, open communication, friendship, and activism for those of South Asian Heritage.
Student Leaders:
