Students for a National Health Program (SNaHP) is a student chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP), an organization of 20,000 physicians across the country who advocate for universal, comprehensive single-payer health insurance.
We believe that access to high-quality health care is a right of all people and should be provided equitably as a public good rather than bought and sold as a commodity.
We support the passage of Medicare for All.
Case’s SNaHP Chapter was started in January of 2015, and we are currently part of the CWRU Health Justice group. We currently have 130 members. Like our national Facebook page to keep up-to-date on our work!

On 10/1/2015, Case Western joined 33 other medical schools across the country in a Medicare-for-All National Day of Action to call for universal, single payer health care in the United States. We were covered locally in The Cleveland Scene , The Observer, and on America's Workforce Radio, and the national movement was covered in over 80 publications (including the front page of Medscape!).
